Unit 2

Integers & Rational Numbers

arrow&v

Unit 2 focuses on Integers and Rational Numbers, which consists of positive numbers, negative numbers, zero, as well as fractions and decimals. Integers and Rational Numbers are compared using Inequalities, Opposites, and Absolute Value, and are plotted on a Coordinate Plane to determine distance between Horizontal and Vertical Coordinates. The four operations on Integers, Fractions, & Decimals are covered in this unit as well.

2.1

Opposites & Absolute Values

This lesson is designed to help learners understand how to identify and determine the Opposite and Absolute Value of Rational Numbers.

2.2

The Coordinate Plane - Part 1

This lesson is designed to help learners understand the Axis, Quadrants, Ordered Pairs, and how to Plot Points on a Coordinate Plane. This is Part 1 of a 2-part series.

2.2

The Coordinate Plane - Part 2

This lesson is designed to help learners understand the Axis, Quadrants, Ordered Pairs, and how to Plot Points on a Coordinate Plane. This is Part 2 of a 2-part series.

2.3

Measuring Distance on a Coordinate Plane

This lesson is designed to help learners understand how to determine the Distance between Ordered Pairs that are Vertical or Horizontal from each other on a Coordinate Plane by finding the Sum or Difference between Absolute Values.
